About me

Successful people use to say:

“Getting where I am today was not easy”.

Well, let’s put it this way: actually it is damn hard. It is a long journey that takes time and energy.

  • You have to make choices, and learn to accept they might not be perfect.
  • You might feel you’re out of the game, and still have to get back on your feet. You might feel tired and disappointed.
  • You might lose your direction.
  • You might lose your self-confidence.

To give you a sense of my story,  here are some of the challenges that I’ve faced in my career.  I:

  • Had no clue what I wanted or what I’m good at
  • Had a significant career change from Journalism to Customer Service, Sales and then to Human Resources
  • Spent ten years with the same company, which had no plans of growth for me
  • Postponed having a child because of my busy career
  • Relocated my family internationally two times to progress my career
  • Lost my job in a company reorganization while being pregnant
  • Returned to work while my baby was three months old
  • Experienced a late after-birth depression, on the edge of burn-out, while joggling with responsibilities at home and in the office
  • Had several temporary contracts and had to look for a new job every 2 years

But there’s always another side of the story. The bright side!

In fact there are so many versions of it, you could be amazed.

Every single night at bedtime, my son (3 – year old) was asking for the story with the rainbow house. To make it hard enough for me, it had to be different every time. Sometimes I had to be the boy looking for the rainbow house, sometimes I was the flying dragon who was taking him there, or even the house itself which, like a chameleon, was changing color after color when talking to the things and creatures around. Looking through someone else’s eyes made the difference.

The bright side of my story is that I am so proud and happy with who I am today. That I’ve learned a lot. I’ve changed a lot. That it was full of excitement all the way.

Not being alone is an important part of our journeys. That’s why I am a career coach: so you can feel the power of having a partner on your way.  To get ready to do what matters for you and was on hold for so long.

This makes my heart tremble with joy.
